Juve consider swap offer for Pogba

Juventus are ready to make a move for Paul Pogba in the next 12-months, but they know they will need to offer players in exchange to get any deal off the ground.

Manchester United have been highly unimpressed with Pogba’s stance over the summer which saw his camp make it known that he was unsettled.

Some Spanish sources insisted that a move to Barcelona was on the cards, and there was clearly an interest – but United were never willing to budge.

Barca remain keen, but Juventus – the club Pogba left United for at the start of his career – remain keen, on being reunited with the French star.

However, with Cristiano Ronaldo signed this summer – Juve would need to work out a few deals to re-sign Pogba, and likely it would need potential swap deals.

And United are interested in some players who could potentially be offered by Juve – namely Paulo Dybala and Miralem Pjanic.

Argentine striker has been linked with a move to England on a number of occasions, and at 24 he has many good years ahead of him, and United have already done some home work on him.

Likewise, United are well versed on Pjanic – the Bosnian midfielder, who only signed a new long-term deal in the summer.

Pjanic, who nearly joined United before signing for Juve, is a world-class performer and move than capable of filling the boots of someone like Pogba, and I understand Juve would consider doing a deal involving both – depending on what United would need for Pogba.

It is certain that United are very much considering Pogba’s future and Bookmakers firmly believe that it is Barca leading the chase for his signature with BetVictor listing them at 2/1 ahead of Juve at 8/1.

United, though, are favourites to land both Dybala and Pjanic should they indeed depart Juve.
