Juventus confident they can compete for Sanchez

Italian giants Juventus are ready to take on Manchester City and Chelsea to take Alexis Sanchez to Turin this summer.

Juve look like they might be selling their star front-man Paulo Dybala – and one of the men they want to come in is Sanchez.

Football INDEX Talk – Both Alexis Sanchez and Paulo Dybala are sure to be two huge movers in the index in the coming months. Sanchez is currently trading at number two in the index at £4.93. Dybala is currently at £1.42 but going up all the time.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are set to battle it out over the brilliant Dybala, although Chelsea have also asked about him.

But Chelsea are also very keen on Sanchez, and I am told The Blues believe the fact they could offer the Chilean the chance to stay in London could but their trump card.

However, Manchester City are also confident they could land Sanchez and would offer him a big pay rise on his current Arsenal deal.

Whilst Arsenal are also set to offer Sanchez a new deal, but it would now take a monumental deal to keep him at The Emirates, and there are no signs coming from the club that they will make such an offer.

Whilst both City and Chelsea are keeping firmly abreast of the situation – there is huge interest from the continent.

Paris Saint Germain are long-term admirers of Sanchez and will join any bidding for the 28-year-old.

However, sources in Italy have told me that Juventus are ready to push the boat out to land Sanchez – whose camp have given some encouragement to the Old Lady.

“Juve are ready to push very hard for Sanchez and offer him what he wants, and the fact Arsenal would be loathed to lose him to a Premier League rival – Juve believe this could give them the edge,” the source said.

Sanchez has just over 12-months left on his current deal at Arsenal, and it looks increasingly likely he will be heading out of The Emirates this summer.

Odds

We spoke to Ladbrokes about the market surrounding Sanchez, with Chelsea the current favourites at 5/2.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told TheGamblingTimes.com: “As things stand it’s Chelsea leading the way in the race for his signature. But we’re keeping an eye on Man City’s odds. Guardiola has long been a fan and he’ll likely have plenty of money to play with when the transfer window opens, so you can expect that 7/1 to fall in the coming weeks.”

Ladbrokes are also as short as 2/1 for Paulo Dybala to leave Juventus this summer.
