Juventus are having to battle with a number of Premier League clubs to land one of their top targets Tanguy Ndombele.
Juve have been tracking the Lyon midfielder since last summer and they thought a deal, worth around £50million was close to completion.
But the 22-year-old, who joined Lyon from Amiens in 2017, is now very much in the sights of a number of Premier League clubs.
Both Manchester City and Manchester United have both made contact, whilst Tottenham have also made enquiries.
Lyon have already confirmed the interest in Ndombele, but now Juve are fearing that the player will have his head turned by a move to the Premier League.
And Lyon chief Jean-Michel Aulas confirms that Ndombele will join the highest bidder.
“It’s true that Juventus are after Ndombele,” Aulas said.
“But there’s also Manchester United and City. We’ll see what happens. I won’t talk about money. Economic parameters are the priority when selling players.”
Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain linked but sources close to the deal believe that Ndombele could now very well be heading to England, with United making a big push in recent weeks – although City, who are wanting a new holding midfielder as the long-term successor to Fernadinho.
Tottenham are keen, as they consider the futures of Eric Dier and Victor Wanyama.
The Bookmakers find it hard to pick Ndombele’s next club with BetVictor making both City and United 6/1, whilst an Italian club is also 6/1.
