Juventus are confident they will tie up a deal for Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin this summer, fending off interest from Barcelona.
I have been told by sources close to the player that a move from The Emirates is almost certain this summer for the 22-year-old.
Bellerin has four-years left on his current deal, but Arsenal are ready to move him in and turn over a huge profit on a player they lured from Barca’s academy as a teenager.
He has progressed into a full Spain international, and Barcelona were keen on taking him back to Catalunya, but it now appears a move to Turin is the most likely scenario
Juventus, who believe they have a deal for Liverpool’s Emre Can already in place, are confident that Bellerin wants to join them.
Bookmakers are backing the Old Lady to do a deal and they are 5/2 favourites to land Bellerin ahead of Barca at 3/1.
“This latest gamble suggests Hector Bellerin could be featuring in Serie A next season as punters have been knocking us over to back the Spanish defender to sign for Juventus in the summer,” said Coral’s John Hill.
