Tottenham star Harry Kane helped the club put a poor week behind them with this third hat-trick in nine games as they beat Stoke City 4-0 at White Hart Lane.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were humbled by Gent in midweek as they bowed out of the Europa League, but there was no European hangover for Spurs.
Kane opened the scoring on 14-minutes, but had completed the treble little over 20-minutes later. Dele Alli – who himself had a poor midweek when he was red-carded – added the fourth on the stroke of half-time.

On the back of the win Spurs moved into second place and their odds on a top-four finish have also been cut, with BetVictor making them 4/11 from 1/2.
Tottenham ran out comfortable 4-0 winners over Stoke and shorten to 4/11 from 1-2 to finish in the Top Four this season.
You can also back Spurs to win the league without Chelsea, and they are 2/1 from 7/2 for that.
Kane’s hat-rick took him to 17 for the season, level with Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku, and to back him to finish with the golden boot again you can get 6/4.
