Kane still odds on for Golden Boot

The race for the Premier League Golden Boot is firmly on, but Harry Kane remains firm favourite to claim it for a third straight year.

Kane is looking to match Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry, who both took the award three years in succession – but the competition is intense.

Liverpool sensation Mo Salah has gone level with Kane on 24 for the season, with 2015 winner Sergio Aguero just three further back.

Salah’s odds over the weekend have come in to 15/8, but Kane remains odds on at 4/6 – despite a goalless afternoon for him at Wembley.

Aguero has drifted to 11/2 after he also failed find the score-sheet in their success against Chelsea.

Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented “Mohamed Salah keeps netting the goals and is breaking records as he does.

“This is Salah’s fifth goal in four consecutive games across the Premier League and as he levels up with Harry Kane on 26 goals for the Top Goalscorer title, punters have been latching onto his 11/4 odds seeing him cut into 15/8 as a result.”
