Kane v Boro – who would you back?

Harry Kane is in such brilliant form – you can now back him to beat goal-shy Middlesbrough.

Last season’s Golden Boot winner Kane, has rocketed to the top of the goal-scoring charts in the Premier League in the past few weeks.

He has scored 14 goals in his 12 games played in 2017 – and has 19 in the Premier League, after adding a brace to his tally in the 3-2 win over Everton on Sunday.

Boro in stark contrast to Kane, are struggling to find the net in 2017 in the top-flight, Boro have just two goals to their name.

Indeed Boro and Kane now stand level on 19 Premier League goals for the season – but who will come out on top?

We spoke to BetVictor’s head of ante post football Michael Triffitt – who has listed Kane at 8/1 to get the better of Boro.

“It’s been a grim and gloomy season for beleaguered Middlesbrough followers this term and with only four wins and a mere nineteen goals scored in the Premier League there has been little time for smiles at the Riverside,” he told TheGamblingTimes.com.

“Boro fans must be enviously looking at Tottenham Hotspur’s red hot forward Harry Kane who bagged a brace today to take his own personal tally to nineteen for this campaign alone. Could he do the unthinkable and outscore a whole team?!. Betvictor say its 8/1 he does and that may have Boro fans licking their lips!!!”

You could also add Kane to finish as top-scorer in the top-flight for a second successive season, and he is now Evens favourite to win the Golden Boot.

PL Top Goalscorer odds with BetVictor:

Romelu Lukaku               3/1
Diego Costa                    6/1
