Leicester drawn against Atletico; United get Anderlecht

Leicester City have been drawn against Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Leicester came from behind to beat Sevilla in midweek and their reward for winning that is another Spanish side with Diego Simeone’s Atletico.

The first leg will be played in the Vicente Calderon, before the second leg back at the King Power.

In the other games, and there are two mouthwatering looking ties with tournament favourites Bayern Munich going up against defending champions Real Madrid.

Barcelona pulled off the biggest comeback in European history to beat Paris Saint Germain in the last 16 and they will face highly fancied Italian champions Juventus.

The final game promises goals-a-plenty with Borussia Dortmund coming up against Manchester City’s slayers Monaco.

Atletico Madrid  v Leicester City
Borussia Dortmund v Monaco
Bayern Munich v Real Madrid
Juventus v Barcelona

In the Europa League, favourites Manchester United were handed a clash with Belgian giants Anderlecht.

United are odds on to win this tournament and this would give them qualification to the Champions League, meaning they would not have to finish in the top-four.
