Morando – the favourite for the big opener of the Flat race season the Lincoln – has been ruled out through injury.
The much fancied grey was widely a 5-1 chance for the big event on Saturday, but now bookmakers have been bust re-ordering their markets after he was ruled out.
Varian confirmed via social media that his charge had suffered an injury.
Unfortunately, Morando will not run in the Lincoln Handicap @DoncasterRaces on Saturday having incurred a minor setback this morning.
