Liverpool looking at Danny Ings options

Liverpool are looking at the options for Danny Ings, with a host Premier League clubs looking to land him in January.

Indeed, Liverpool are being left with the decision whether to simply loan him or sell him, as that is also an option for them.

The 25-year-old striker is now back to full fitness following two serious knee injuries which means he has not started a league match for over two-years.

The England international still holds out hope he could get himself into World Cup contention, but to do that he needs regular Premier League football – and that won’t be coming at Anfield.

Now Liverpool have given him the green-light to look at his options. Neighbours Everton, West Ham, Newcastle, Southampton, West Brom, Swansea and Watford are amongst the clubs all happy to take him.

However, sources close to Liverpool believe it is West Ham and Newcastle who are currently leading the race for his signature.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has sanctioned the move, with Ings now down the pecking order – but there remains hope he can recapture the form which earned him his move to Anfield in 2015.

Bookmakers make Newcastle favourites to land him ahead of West Ham, with BetVictor making Rafa Benitez’s side 5/1.
