Liverpool have been made favourites for the Premier League title for the first time this season.

Reigning champions Manchester City have been odds-on since the new campaign was priced up in the summer, but now having dropped points again at home to Wolves – Liverpool have been made favourites.

Liverpool have enjoyed a wonderful start to the new season having won all eight games, and now Bookmakers have reacted with Jurgen Klopp’s men now eight points clear.

Klopp admitted over the weekend that he already feels like they are in a title run-in.

“It is true,” Klopp said. “It is our life.”

Now it is Liverpool’s to lose with BoyleSports trimming their odds into 4/6 from 11/10, making them the new favourites.

Manchester City have eased out to 5/4 from 4/5 which is the biggest price they have been since the start of this competition.

Sarah Kinsella, spokesperson for BoyleSports said: “Liverpool fans will be thrilled to be eight points clear in the Premier League title race ahead of defending champions Manchester City.

“The Reds have been cut into 4/6 from 11/10 making them the new favourites with hope growing that this could be their year. This is the shortest price they have been in the outright with the Citizens easing out to 5/4 from 4/5.”
