With reports in Spain claiming that Luis Enrique has been contacted by Chelsea, the odds on the former Barcelona man taking charge at Stamford Bridge have been slashed.

Pressure is mounting on current Antonio Conte, and he is odds-on to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job.

Along with the odds on Conte leaving, markets are open on his replacement with former Chelsea bosses Guus Hiddink and Carlo Ancelotti linked, but favourite is now Enrique.

The former Barcelona boss is currently out of work since leaving the Catalan giants nearly 12-months ago, but the Spanish media believe that Enrique is going to be the man to replace Conte.

Enrique is now 6/4 favourite ahead of Ancelotti and Hiddink with Coral.

“It’s been one-way traffic for Luis Enrique in our betting on the next Chelsea manager as punters are convinced the club will turn to the former Barcelona man to replace Antonio Conte if the Italian does leave the Premier League champions,” said Coral’s John Hill.
