Romelu Lukaku’s future could very well lie away from Manchester United.
The Belgian striker does not appear to be first-choice under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who is believed to have given the green light to Lukaku leaving.
United signed Lukaku in a deal worth up to £90million in 2017 – but now they are ready to move on from him and Italian giants Inter Milan – who are set to appoint Antonio Conte as their new coach – are in pole position to land the 26-year-old.
Old Trafford sources believe that Lukaku is ready to move on and he would like to try his hand in a different country, and a move to Milan is believed to appeal.
Bookmakers believe a move to the San Siro is very much on the cards for Lukaku, and Inter are odds-on to land him with Coral making him 5/6 to sign with Inter.
“Romelu Lukaku is thought to be Inter Milan’s number one target this summer and our betting suggests they will land their man,” said Coral’s John Hill.
