Romelu Lukaku has completed his medicals ahead of his moves to Manchester United from Everton.
Lukaku’s move, which could be worth up to £90million – will be sealed on Sunday after he completed a medical in LA and he will link-up with his new team-mates on Monday as they are flying out to America for their pre-season tour.
Lukaku has also been talking about the move for the first time.
Speaking to ESPN he said: “Who would say no to the biggest club in the world?”
“When Manchester United came calling, I didn’t have to think twice. So I’m really delighted to hopefully be part of their history.”
“They’re biggest club in the world, the best team in England and the best fans.”
All betting markets on Lukaku are now suspended, but the new Manchester United signing is figuring highly in the Golden Boot market.
Lukaku is 8/11 with bet365 to score 20 or more 2017/18 Premier League goals and 5/1 to go one better than last season and finish as the division’s top scorer after his move to Manchester United.
The prolific Belgian is also 11/8 to fire a blank against his former side Everton over the two league games and 12/1 to bag three or more in the double header.
