Bookmakers have moved to shorten odds on Arsenal landing Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez.
The 26-year-old told Leicester earlier this summer that he wanted to leave the King Power Stadium, and a host of clubs have been linked with the Algerian star – who was named Footballer of the Year in England in 2016, after The Foxes claimed the Premier League title.

Last season saw both Mahrez and Leicester struggle to live-up to expectations as their title defence turned into a relegation battle at one point, which saw head coach Claudio Ranieri sacked, before new boss Craig Shakespeare guided them to safety.
But Mahrez feels the time is now right to leave Leicester, and is hopeful of securing a move away.
Paris Saint Germain and Barcelona had been linked, but Arsenal have emerged as firm favourites to land his signature and Labrokes now make them odds-on to land the winger and they are now 10/11 from 9/2.
Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin said: “With Barca bottling negotiations, the Gunners are set to swoop for the Algerian this summer, as they look to bolster their title ambitions with a Prem-winning playmaker.”
