Manchester City are close to securing the signature of Napoli midfielder Jorginho.

City have been locked in talks with the Naples outfit over the Brazilian-born Italian international, who has been one of their top summer targets for a number of months.

Napoli had been demanding over £million, but a deal worth around £47million is believed to have been agreed – with the two club now discussing the formalities.

Personal terms have already been discussed so the player could very well undergo a medical this week.

Bookmakers fully believe this deal will be done and across the board this market is now closed.
