Manchester City remain hopeful of concluding a deal for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
Juventus and now Bayern Munich have baulked at Sanchez’s pay demands, leaving City the most likely destination for Sanchez – should he leave The Emirates this summer.

City sources have confirmed that they are ready to be patient over the deal, whilst Arsenal remain hopeful of agreeing a new deal – although they have also talked with their Premier League rivals about a possible player exchange. Sergio Aguero was mentioned but I understand Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has also been discussed.
Sanchez is now on extended leave after partaking in the Confederations Cup – but he himself has insisted that he knows what he wants to do.
Asked if he knows where he wants to play, he commented: “Yes it’s clear but I can’t tell you.” He was then asked about his chances of remaining at Arsenal but said: “I don’t know.”
Bookmakers have started to change their minds on Sanchez and now believe that a move to City is the most likely scenario.
SkyBet now list Man City as Evens to be Sanchez’s club next season, as opposed to Arsenal on 6/5.
