Bookmakers have cut champions Manchester City’s title odds to the shortest odds so far this season.
City sealed a comprehensive 6-1 win over Southampton, whilst Liverpool – who had been level on points – only drew at Arsenal.
So whilst City, Liverpool and Chelsea all remain unbeaten – it is The Citizens who are attracting the money.
Pep Guardiola’s men have now been made 4/11 favourites – which is a near 75% probability that they win back-to-back titles.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s odds are starting to drift, with the Reds now 10/3 for their first ever Premier League title. And elsewhere, only Chelsea (11/1) are priced shorter than 40/1 to go all the way.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Three sides are still maintaining their unbeaten start to the season but it’s City who are huge favourites to go all the way and lift the Premier League trophy in May.”
