Sadio Mane has seen his odds on wining the Premier League Golden Boot tumble after an opening day brace for Liverpool.
The Senegalese ace scored twice in Liverpool’s 4-0 taming of West Ham United, and now the Bookies have reacted by slashing his odds.
Mane began the season some what longer in the betting than that of team-mates Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino – but now he is into 16/1 having been 50/1.
Aoife Heffron, Spokesperson for BoyleSports commented: “Sadio Mane kicked off the season by throwing his name into the Top Goalscorer hat after his two goals against West Ham saw him join the head of the table and his odds cut from 50/1 to 16/1 as punters began to latch onto him.”
