Southampton manager Mark Hughes is the new favourite in the Premier League sack race.

Slavisa Jokanovic became the first top-flight manager to lose his job this season when bottom-of-the-table Fulham axed him and replaced him with Claudio Ranieri.

Now the odds have been reshaped and the new market is available, and it is little surprise that Hughes is the 4/5 favourite – given he was second favourite.

Hughes is already one of six names to have led the sack race, having been favourite at the start of August.
