Market Movers with Unibet – Feb 15

Unibet Racing’s Will Petit brings us their biggest market moves and ones to watch from Wednesday’s racing action.

There are three movers on the day, one mover in the Four Miler at Cheltenham and news of three extra place races. It’s all here!

SANDOWN

Dorking Cock

12.50pm
11/2 from 15/2

DORKING COCK looks hugely unexposed for this Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle. The 5yo makes just his second start in handicap company, and he was a good 3rd on his debut in this sphere. Jockey Stan Sheppard is well worth his 3lb claim and the yards’ runners usually go pretty close when the money comes. Well backed and a likely type.

We’re offering an EXTRA PLACE on this race, as well as the 2pm at Lingfield and the 7pm at Dundalk.

Darius Des Bois

4.05pm
11/4 from 4/1

DARIUS DES BOIS, trained by Unibet ambassador Nicky Henderson, is another unexposed type who is having just his second handicap chase start. His form since his wind surgery reads 1222 and he looks sure to be there or thereabouts this afternoon. Looks the one to beat.

FAKENHAM

Tara Flow

2.10pm
5/1 from 13/2

A trappy four runner affair, but we’re seeing all the money for one horse – TARA FLOW. She has form that suggests she’s a fair bit better than this mark and her comeback from over two years off wasn’t devoid of promise. If coming on for that run she can go close for her shrewd handler.

CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL

Champagne Classic

National Hunt Chase
12/1 from 16/1

Gordon Elliott confirmed on Twitter last night that previous Festival winner CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC is heading for the Four Miler and alert punters with fast fingers were quick to gobble our top price 16/1 on offer. He’s a horse who obviously has a lot of ability but also a few problems but if getting a smooth run to Cheltenham over the final three or four weeks he’ll likely go off significantly shorter still.
