Unibet Racing’s Will Petit brings us their biggest market movers and ones to watch from Thursday’s racing action.
Three movers on the day plus one early mover for the Eclipse at Sandown.
2.35pm
3/1 from 5/1
ZUMURUD is into clear favourite at Nottingham following some cracking performances this season. He’s been knocking at the door, including when winning his group at Ripon, and Adam Kirby is an eye-catching booking. Punters seem confident this one will go well.
4.50pm
3/1 from 9/1
Better backed on the card at Nottingham is ATYAAF who is now also clear favourite for the five furlong sprint at 4.50pm. He’s another who has been knocking at the door and was staying on strongly last time out and in an open race he’s the horse for serious support.
5.30pm
9/2 from 11/2
The money in the lucky last has been for Paul Midgley’s NIBRAS AGAIN. Oisin Murphy is a man on the hunt for winners right now as he chases a maiden Jockeys’ Championship and his mount today is yet another backed horse who has been knocking on the door of late. The yard is worth following when the money is down and the 5yo looks expected to go well if the money, and jockey booking, is anything to go by.
Coral-Eclipse (antepost)
8/1 from 14/1
Sir Micheal Stoute has a fantastic record at bringing horses along slowly and getting the best out of them in their ‘older’ years. He is also the joint winning most trainer of this very race and he looks to have a live chance of a seventh success with REGAL REALITY. The 4yo was a ready winning of the Brigadier Gerard Stakes over course and distance earlier this season and he looks to have been targetted at this race having missed a number of possible engagements at Royal Ascot. With the race likely to cut up this could be a shrewd gamble by our forward thinking antepost players, especially with reports in the Racing Post that the son of Intello has been working well!
