To be fair the yard’s runners often do and for all that this is always a good race, this one must be showing something at home. She’s related to some smart types and it will be fascinating to see how she fares today. Really well backed.

STARFIGHTER, for that man Oisin Murphy, is now a clear favourite in the lucky last. He’s in good form, with a string of 2nds, and the yard have banged in a couple of winners in the past week. In a trappy contest he should run his race first time under Murphy and punters like this one over the others. Now the one to beat receiving weight from the field.

He’s only had the three runs, and was up there for a long way last time out, but he does have a fair bit to find on official ratings.
