Markets closed on Mbappe

Bookmakers have closed their markets on Kylian Mbappe as his move to Paris Saint Germain nears a conclusion.

PSG have agreed a loan deal with Monaco, which will become a permanent for around £170million next summer, and will see Mbappe link-up with the world’s most expensive player Neymar –  who PSG paid £200million earlier this summer.

Monaco and PSG had been in talks over a player exchange too, but it seems for the moment Mbappe will be the only player involved in his move.

Mbappe scored 26 goals last season with eight assists as Monaco were crowned French champions and made the last four of the Champions League.

All markets are now closed on Mbappe, with Bookmakers sure that the deal is going through.

!Looks like a done deal to us. Which is probably a good deal for all parties,” said Lee Price of PaddyPower.

“Monaco were clearly going to struggle to offload Mbappe, so a loan deal to PSG makes abolutely perfect sense. Definitely.”
