Marouane Fellaini has confirmed he will announce who he will be playing for next season on July 1, and he is odds-on to be joining Arsenal.
The 30-year-old is out-of-contract at Manchester United, and he can leave on a free transfer.
Talks have been ongoing with a host of clubs from England and Europe, but Arsenal are firm favourites to be landing the Belgian.
Speaking from Belgium’s World Cup HQ, Fellaini revealed that he would soon be confirming his future plans.
“I am not worried about my contract running out, I am used to it. I am strong enough mentally to deal with it. Soon I will say where I will be playing next season. On July 1,” he said.
Paddy Power now make the Man United man 5/6 to go to Arsenal before the transfer window is shut.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “I’m honestly relieved that it looks like one of football’s greatest villains is staying in England. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to those sharp elbows and that magnificent hair.
“Arsenal are the favourites to sign him, and our punters have been weighing in big on him heading down to London to cause more carnage.”
