AC Milan have emerged as favourites to land Celtic striker Moussa Dembele.
The 20-year-old Frenchman only joined the club last summer when they snapped him up from Fulham for a nominal fee, after his deal expired at Craven Cottage.
He responded brilliantly with 32 goals and played a huge part in their domestic treble success.
A host of clubs have been linked, and Chelsea made enquiries in January – whilst Tottenham looked to sign him before Celtic landed him.
Now Milan have entered into talks to land him, and they are trying to get a quick deal done – as up to half-a-dozen clubs are ready to make an offer.
Marselle, Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Monaco are keen on Dembele – along with the interest from England.
Our Football Insider Graeme Bailey told us: “Milan have made the first move, but this is far from a done deal – Celtic know it will be hard to keep hold of him, but they will also want the biggest fee possible.”
