Jose Mourinho is once again the firm favourite to win the Premier League sack race.
The Manchester United boss has already spent much of this season heading the market in who will be next out in the top-flight.
Mourinho was favourite for much of August, September and October – but both Slavisa Jokanovic and Mark Hughes both become short price favourites ahead of their dismissals over the last month.
Now the Portuguese tactician is again favoured to be next out after their worst start to a season in nearly 30 years.
888sport make Mourinho the 5/4 favourite, ahead of Wolves’ Nuno Espirito Santo at 4/1, and Newcastle’s Rafa Benitez at 6/1.
Indeed Coral’s now believe that it is odds-on that Mourinho does not last the season, with Mourinho 4/6 to be kicked out before the season’s end.
Coral is already betting on who will take over Mourinho at Old Trafford in which Zinedine Zidane is the 5-4 favourite, Antonio Conte is 6-1, while Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino is 8-1.
“Jose Mourinho remains under serious pressure to keep his job at Manchester United according to the betting as he is odds-on to leave the club before the end of the season,” said Coral’s John Hill.
“We are already betting on Jose’s replacement and it is Zinedine Zidane who is attracting all the early support to take over at Old Trafford,” added Hill.
