Odds cut on Zlatan switch

Bookmakers have reacted to Los Angeles Galaxy’s interest in Zlatan Ibrahiovic by cutting his odds on landing in Major League Soccer next season.

The 35-year-old has been brilliant for Manchester United this season after joining on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain last summer.

He has bagged 26 goals for United this season and they have offered him the chance to stay and they are ‘confident’ about keeping him – as we reported last month.

Now Galaxy are understood to be ready to ready to make Ibrahimovic the most expensive player in MLS player, but he is still odds on to remain with United.

Ladbrokes price him at 7/4 to move to LA but 4/7 to stay at Old Trafford.

Ladbrokes News’ Richard Marsh said: “LA are a Galaxy without a star right now, but that will all change if they land Zlatan this summer.”
