Odds remain the same after League Cup draw

Premier League clubs have now joined the League Cup field but after the draw there were no changes in the betting.

The teams taking part in European competition do not enter until the third round, and they are all the favourites – indeed the top-seven teams in the betting are all the teams entering later.

Chelsea, Manchester City and current holders Manchester United are co-favourites at 7/1.

BetVictor’s Head of Antepost Football Michael Triffitt commented: “Little change after the draw which due to a seeding meant all the big boys were kept apart.

“Blackburn v Burnley caught the eye as one of the ties of the round with these two great rivals ensuring a sell out at Ewood Park at least.

“It remains 7/1 the field with all to play for!”
