Odds slashed on Ronaldo move

Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Cristiano Ronaldo quitting Real Madrid.

Reports from Spain claim that Madrid are ready to listen to offers for the Portuguese superstar – who has been waiting on a new deal to make him the highest paid player in the world.

The 32-year-old is unhappy with the lack of talks and is now looking at his future.

Ronaldo’s increasing unhappiness has lead to speculation linking him with the likes of Paris Saint Germain, and his former club Manchester United – who are now just 4/1 having been 8/1 at the start of the week.

Spokesman Paddy Power said: “I’m not sure if this one is just Ronaldo’s usual spiel to get himself a fancy new contract, but I’d love the drama if it came off.

“Could Sanchez and Ronaldo to Man United be enough for them to nick the league off City? Probably not. But it would be good fun to see them try.”
