Speculation continues over Paul Pogba’s future and as tensions continue with boss Jose Mourinho, odds on a possible departure have been cut.
Manchester United’s record signing has been in-and-out of the side this season, as his relationship with Mourinho looks to be almost beyond repair.
He has been closely linked with the likes of Barcelona, Paris Saint Germain and his former club Juventus – whose odds have been slashed on taking him back to Turin.
Paddy Power make it 7/1, in from 14/1, that the Frenchman leaves Old Trafford in January following a large series of bets.
However, bookmakers still believe Pogba will outlast Jose Mourinho at United – it’s 1/3 that the manager leaves the club first.
Spokesman Paddy Power said: “We’ve seen a large series of bets on Paul to do another #Pogback in January and return to The Old Lady – which makes sense, considering he’s playing like one.
“It’s also now odds-on for him to be left on the sidelines for the Liverpool game this Sunday, in another chapter of his and Jose Mourinho’s dramatic relationship.”
