Manchester United are firm favourites to sign Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

The 28-year-old winger is in high-demand across Europe, with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool also keen, but United are widely reported to be favourites.

Inter’s £50million asking price looks to be a bit of stumbling block at present, but reports suggest that they are close to agreeing terms.

United, who have also been strongly linked with Willian and James Rodriguez, are now rated at 7/4 to land him this summer.

Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin said: “Old Trafford could be set for its first marquee arrival of the Summer in the form of Perisic, but they may face a battle from a familiar foe.”
