Pogba backed in for PSG switch

Bookmakers have slashed the price on Paul Pogba leaving Manchester United this summer.

Fresh reports about Pogba’s relationship with manager Jose Mourinho have claimed that the French star is eager to leave Old Trafford.

There were some small issues, but they were nothing in the end,” Pogba said.

He has now been linked with a possible move to Paris Saint Germain – one of the few clubs who could afford a deal – in a potential swap deal with Italian ace Marco Verratti.

Now PSG have seen their odds cut to 9/2 to land Pogba – who cost United nearly £90million when they re-signed him from Juventus in 2016.

“Pogba had an unsettled season at best and if the rumours are true then PSG have laid down a sensational offer on the table,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

“Whilst it may seem unlikely it could just prove too good to turn down and we can’t rule out the Frenchman returning to his home country this summer.”
