Premier League Boxing Day Preview

With league leaders Manchester City not playing until Wednesday, second placed Manchester United have the chance to close the gap at the top down to ten points.

United host Burnley at Old Trafford looking for victory, although three points could take them into fifth.

Third placed Chelsea could level with United if they triumph at home to Brighton.

Liverpool host bottom of the table Swansea at Anfield in the final game of the day looking to maintain their grip on fourth place.

If Liverpool do slip-up then Tottenham can leap-frog them if they beat Southampton in the day’s early kick-off.

Bournemouth and West Bromwich Albion could both move out of the relegation places with victories as they host West Ham and Everton respectively.

Under-pressure Stoke boss Mark Hughes is in need of a win as they travel to Huddersfield.

Watford are looking to end a run of four successive games as they host Leicester are Vicarage Road.

See below for a preview on each game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, super agent and former Manchester City ace Barry Silkman, our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
