Friday night football offers Liverpool the chance to return to the top of the Premier League.
Leaders Manchester City are not in league action this weekend so that gives Liverpool the chance to overtake them.
To do so move Liverpool need to take three points from Southampton – who are also in need of points as they are just five points above the drop-zone.
