Premier League Saturday Preview

Champions Chelsea have the chance to close the gap on the top-two on Saturday.

Chelsea travel across London to West Ham for the opening game of the weekend, and with the two Manchester clubs meeting on Sunday – they are looking to close on them.

With Liverpool and Arsenal also playing on Sunday, Tottenham could close the gap on the top-six as they host Stoke looking for their first win in other a month.

There is a big game at Turf Moor, whilst many pre-season would have predicted a relegation six-pointer – there is no such thought here as seventh plays eighth.

Bottom-of-the-table Swansea City are in desperate need of three points at the Liberty Stadium as they host fourth from bottom West Bromwich Albion.

Should West Brom lose to Swansea, they could end up in the relegation zone, but for that to happen Crystal Palace would need a sizeable win at home to Bournemouth.

After making a bright start to the season, Huddersfield’s form has dipped and they now find themselves in 16th, following four straight defeats and they host Brighton at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Also out of form are Newcastle, and they will look to put that right in Saturday’s late game as they host Leicester City.

See below for a preview on each game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray, super agent and former Manchester City ace Barry Silkman, our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
