Premier League Saturday Preview

Manchester City go in search of the Premier League title again this weekend, but they might have to wait once again.

City, who failed to win the title last weekend when they threw away a 2-0 lead at home to rivals Manchester United, would need to win at fourth-place Tottenham this weekend to have any chance of taking the title.

However, even a City win would mean they have to wait until Sunday when United host West Brom – but they would have to lose for Pep Guardiola’s men to secure top-spot.

City’s clash at Wembley is the final kick-off on Saturday, and victory for Tottenham virtually seal their top-four place.

Like Spurs, Liverpool would also all but seal their top-four place if they if they can seal victory over Bournemouth at Anfield.

The opening game of the day sees third from bottom Southampton host Chelsea at St Mary’s and a win for Mark Hughes’s side would taken them out of the drop-zone and above Crystal Palace.

However, Palace could move back above them hours later as they play host to bitter rivals Brighton at Selhurst Park.

Also at the bottom, Huddersfield could move seven points clear of safety as they host Watford, and the same goes for Swansea as they face Everton.

The final game of the day sees 7th play 8th as Burnley entertain Leicester at Turf Moor.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
