Premier League Saturday Preview

The Premier League’s top-three – only separated on goal-difference – are all in action on Saturday as the top-flight returns following the international week.

Champions Manchester City currently sit top, and they will be hopeful of victory as they host Burnley.

Second place Chelsea kick-off the action in what is the game of the weekend in the Premier League, as they welcome their old boss Jose Mourinho and his out-of-sorts Manchester United side to Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool, in third, travel to Huddersfield in the final game of the day – as The Terriers continue their search for their first win of the season.

The other two win-less top-flight sides – Newcastle and Cardiff – are also in action on Saturday. Brighton make the trip to St James’ Park, whilst The Bluebirds host Fulham in the Welsh capital.

Elsewhere, there are also two derbies – with Bournemouth, who could move into the top-four, welcoming South Coast rivals Southampton to the Vitality Stadium, whilst in the capital West Ham entertain Tottenham at the London Stadium.

The final game of the day sees in-form Wolves look to move into the top-six as they host Watford – who are looking to end a run of four games without a win.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
