Premier League Saturday Preview

All eyes remain on Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea as the Premier League returns to action following the international break.

The top-three remain unbeaten, and all are in action on Saturday, and all three face tricky away tests in the capital.

Leaders Manchester City travel to the London Stadium, whilst second placed Liverpool are at Vicrage Road to face Watford.

But the undoubted game of the weekend is at Wembley, as Chelsea come up against fourth-placed Tottenham in one of the matches of the season so far.

Manchester United are looking to bounce back from their derby defeat to City last time out, and victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford could take them back up to sixth in the table.

At the other end of the table, there is a huge game at Craven Cottage, which is an archetypal ‘six-pointer’. Claudio Ranieri takes charge of bottom-of-the-table Fulham for the first time since replacing Slavisa Jokanovic and he comes up against Mark Hughes and Southampton – who are just three points better off.

Elsewhere, ninth-placed Everton host Cardiff City whilst Brighton entertain Leicester at the AMEX.

See below for a preview on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
