Premier League Saturday Preview

Premier League leaders Liverpool could extend their lead at the top to nine points in their final game of 2019.

Liverpool host fifth place Arsenal in a mouthwatering contest at Anfield in the late kick-off on the day.

Tottenham, who moved into second place on Boxing Day, have chance to make sure they move into 2019 in that spot as they host Wolves at Wembley.

Leicester can easily stake a claim for being the form side in world football with the scalps of Chelsea and Manchester City in successive games and they will finish the year in 7th if they beat Cardiff at the King Power.

Watford have a chance to move into seventh, but to do that they need to beat Newcastle at Vicarage Road.

At the foot of the table, there is a huge ‘six point’ clash as bottom placed Huddersfield travel to second from bottom Fulham.

The game’s other day sees Brighton host Everton with the Seagulls looking to end a run of four games without a win.

See below for a preview on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
