Premier League Saturday Preview

Liverpool look to go seven points clear at the top of the Premier League on Saturday.

The Reds lost their unbeaten start to the season last time out when losing to champions Manchester City, and they will be looking to get back to winning ways at Brighton.

Chelsea have the chance to close to within one point of Tottenham in third if they can overcome Newcastle in the day’s late kick-off.

The opening fixture of the day sees Arsenal travel to West Ham United in what looks an interesting capital derby clash.

Every game is massive for bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield who are in desperate need of a win, as they are some eight points off safety, but they could close that gap as they travel to fourth-from-bottom Cardiff City.

Elsewhere at the wrong end, second from bottom Fulham travel to Burnley in what can easily be described as a ‘six-pointer’.

Southampton, who occupy the third relegation place could climb out of the drop-zone with victory, but they have a far from easy task at Leicester.

If Leicester fail to win, then Watford have a chance to replace them in 7th, as they travel to South London to face Crystal Palace.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
