Premier League Saturday Preview

Leaders Liverpool look to keep up the pace at the top of the Premier League on Saturday.

The Reds are four points clear of champions Manchester City, but as they are not in action until Sunday – Jurgen Klopp’s side will go seven clear with victory at home to Crystal Palace.

The game of the weekend is the final game of Saturday as fourth plays fifth with Chelsea hosting Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. A victory for The Gunners would move them to within three points of The Blues.

Manchester United will have the chance to overtake Arsenal, if they don’t win at Chelsea, as they host Brighton – with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to equal the best ever start to a Premier League managerial career.

At the wrong end of the table – the bottom two do not play until Sunday, but there is a huge ‘six-point’ clash with third bottom Newcastle hosting fourth bottom Cardiff – with just one point separating the two sides.

Southampton, who are only ahead of Cardiff on goal-difference, host Everton at St Mary’s hoping for back-to-back successes.

In-form Burnley are looking for a fourth successive victory as they host seventh place Watford.

West Ham could find themselves in seventh, if they grab all three points at Bournemouth.

Finally, the opening game of the day is a Midlands derby as Wolverhampton welcome Leicester to

TEAM NEWS: Wolves have the luxury of a fully fit squad to choose from, but they are without the suspended Wily Boly.

Leicester are without Daniel Amartey, but they hope Jonny Evans will be available despite a toe problem.

TEAM NEWS: West Ham hope that Marko Arnautovic, Fabian Balbuena and Javier Hernandez could be available – although the latter might not feature due to him set for a move away. The Hammers still have the longest injury list in the league with Jack Wilshere, Ryan Fredericks, Andriy Yarmolenko, Carlos Sanchez, Winston Reid and Manuel Lanzini all ruled out.

Callum Wilson is a doubt with a hamstring problem, but Dominic Solanke, Lewis Cook and Simon Francis are ruled out.

Palace are without goalkeepers Vicente Guaita and Wayne Hennessey, so they have brought in Lucas Perri on-loan from Sao Paulo on-loan – who should make his debut. Pape Souare is also sidelined.

Brighton are without Bernardo and Jose Izquierdo, but Yves Bissouma should be available. Goalkeeper Matt Ryan remains at the Asia Cup.

Ciaran Clark, Kenedy, Jonjo Shelvey and Momo Diame are all considered doubtful, whilst Jamaal Lascelles, Paul Dummett and Karl Darlow are all out.
