Premier League Saturday Preview

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are the only top-six clubs in action on Saturday as they look to boost their top-four hopes.

Spurs could move into third in the table with all three points as they face already relegated Huddersfield in the day’s opening game at their new White Hart Lane home.

Defeat for Tottenham would allow United the chance to catch them, but victory at least would take them above Arsenal into fifth as they face West Ham at Old Trafford.

Third-from-bottom Cardiff are approaching must-win status in all their games, and their trip to Burnley certainly is that as Neil Warnock’s men could move to within a point of safety with victory.

Should Cardiff win, then it would be Southampton who would be looking over their shoulders nervously and they will be hoping to look after themselves as they host Wolves at St Mary’s. Wolves in eighth could finish the weekend in tenth if they lose, so they will be looking for maximum points on the South Coast.

Everton could move into seventh with victory and they will be looking for all three points at relegated Fulham.

The final game of the day is a South Coast derby as Brighton welcome Southampton to the AMEX.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
