Premier League Saturday Preview

Leaders Liverpool open up the Premier League weekend with a trip to Sheffield United, looking to maintain their perfect start to the new season.

A win would see Liverpool make it seven wins from seven to start the new season, which would be a record for them – but they do face a tricky looking trip to Bramall Lane.

Champions Manchester City are also in action as they travel to Goodison Park to face an out-of-sorts Everton.

West Ham have the chance to move into the top-four, and to do so they will need to get something from their trip to Bournemouth.

Tottenham look to get back into some sort of form as they host Southampton, also in London Chelsea look to climb into the top-half of the table as they welcome Brighton to Stamford Bridge.

Burnley are looking for back-to-back wins as they travel to Birmingham to take on Aston Villa – who have not won a game since August.

The bottom two, both winless, clash at Molineux as Wolves take on Watford.

Finally Crystal Palace entertain Norwich at Selhurst Park.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
