Premier League Saturday Preview

Liverpool look to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League during an action-packed Saturday programme.

Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to The Midlands to take on Aston Villa, victory could put them nine points clear at the top, but defeat could allow champions Manchester City to close the gap.

And in a truly rare occurrence, Liverpool and City are both kicking off at three o’clock on Saturday. Whilst Liverpool are at Villa Park, City play host to third from bottom Southampton at the Etihad.

Should City slip-up then Chelsea have the chance to move into second as they face the trip to North London to take on bottom-of-the-table and win-less Watford.

Fifth placed Arsenal are looking to return to winning ways at the Emirates after being held by Crystal Palace last weekend, and they face a tricky looking task as they host Wolves

The day’s opening game takes place on the South Coast with Manchester United looking to continue their recent revival at Bournemouth.

Sheffield United could find themselves as high as fifth if results go their way and they beat Burnley at Bramall Lane.

West Ham are looking for their first win in over a month against a Newcastle side who have just two wins to their name this season.

Finally, Brighton are looking to make it consecutive victories as they welcome second bottom Norwich to the AMEX.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
