Premier League Saturday Preview

The Premier League returns on Saturday and the top-four are all in action.

Leaders Liverpool are eight points clear at the top of the table and will at the very least look to maintain that as they travel to South London to face Crystal Palace.

Second placed Leicester will look to keep up their wonderful start as they face Brighton on the South Coast at the AMEX.

The day’s final game is the undoubted game of the weekend as champions Manchester City, currently in fourth, play host to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at the Etihad.

The opening match of the weekend is also packed full of intrigue as Jose Mourinho makes his return to the Premier League with his new team Tottenham as they travel across the capital to take on West Ham.

As well as the top-four, the bottom-three are all in action too.

Third bottom Watford claimed their first win of the season last time out and they will look for a successive wins as they host Burnley at Vicarage Road.

Southampton, just a point off bottom spot, are looking to avoid a fourth loss in-a-row as they face a tough looking trip to Arsenal.

Basement side Norwich are also looking to a void a fourth successive defeat, but they have it a tough task on their hands as they travel to Merseyside to take on Everton.

The other game sees eighth place Wolves take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium and victories for either could see them move up to sixth place in the table.

See below for a preview on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
