Premier League Saturday Preview

Champions-elect Liverpool will look to take another step to sealing their first ever Premier League crown as they visit Watford on Saturday.

The day’s final game sees Liverpool travel to Vicarage Road with their unbeaten record intact and they will be more than hopeful of maintaining that against the second-from-bottom Hornets.

With Manchester City not in league action this weekend due to the Carabao Cup Final, a Liverpool win will also see them move 25 points clear.

Chelsea’s battle for a top-four finish continues on the South Coast at Bournemouth – who are in desperate need of a win themselves, sitting just two points ahead of the relegation places.

Saturday’s opening game is a huge one as Brighton meet arch-rivals Crystal Palace at the AMEX Stadium. Brighton come into the game just four points above the drop-zone.

Relegation threatened West Ham are desperate for three points to lift them out of the bottom three, which will happen if they beat Southampton at the London Stadium.

Burnley and Newcastle clash at St James’ Park, but neither have relegation worries – indeed The Clarets sit in tenth place coming into the clash.
