Premier League Wednesday Preview

The top-six are all in action on Wednesday evening.

Liverpool are back at the top of the table and lead by one point, and they will look to stay there as they host Watford.

Manchester City host West Ham United, knowing victory would take them back top – should Liverpool slip-up.

The game of the evening takes place at Stamford Bridge as third place Tottenham travel to rivals Chelsea. If results went their way, Spurs could move to within two points of top-spot, whilst victory for sixth-placed Chelsea could see them into fourth.

Arsenal moved into fourth place over the weekend and they will stay there if they beat Bournemouth at The Emirates.

Should Arsenal fail to win then Manchester United could move back above them as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

The final game of the evening is an archetypal ‘six-pointer’ as third bottom Southampton host second bottom Fulham at St Mary’s.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
