Premier League Wednesday Preview

Wednesday’s Premier League action centres around the top-four with Chelsea continuing their unlikely push to seal a Champions League place for next season.

The 2017 champions still have a chance of finishing above Liverpool and Tottenham, but to do that maximum points are likely needed from their final two games starting with Huddersfield at home.

However, Huddersfield are firmly fixed on getting the point they need to secure their Premier League safety – so this game has plenty to play for.

Tottenham currently occupy fourth, but they have third in their sights but also know six points from their remaining games are a likely necessity – beginning with Newcastle at Wembley.

Also on Wednesday, champions Manchester City still have the magic 100 point mark in their sights as they host Brighton in the final home match of the season.

The final game sees Arsenal travel to Leicester already knowing they are finishing sixth, but the Foxes are still not certain of a top-half finish.

See below for a preview on the games, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
