Premier League Wednesday Preview

League leaders Liverpool face neighbours Everton with the chance to move 11 points clear at the top-of-the-table.

The Reds play host to their Stanley Park rivals in fine form, having only dropped points in one game so far this season – but Everton come into the match sat fourth from bottom and with manager Marco Silva under huge pressure.

Leicester will look to try and keep up some pressure on Liverpool at the top, and they will be hopeful of victory as they host bottom-of-the-table and manager-less Watford.

Fourth placed Chelsea are looking to bounce back to form following successive defeats as they host Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.

Another huge game on Wednesday sees Jose Mourinho takes his new club Tottenham to face Manchester United, his first time back at Old Trafford since they sacked him last season. And whilst United are struggling for form, Spurs are in red hot form under Mourinho – who has won every game since taking charge.

Elsewhere, Wolves welcome West Ham to Molineux whilst Norwich travel to Southampton in what is a big six-pointer at the wrong end of the table.

See below for a preview on the game, including predictions from former England, Crystal Palace and Tottenham midfielder Andy Gray and our own Football Insider Graeme Bailey and bet365’s Steve Freeth.
